I agree with this, however there is no reasons given for why a person should go to church except that it would be following Jesus. Why would this be? Is it because Jesus tell us to have fellowship with other believers? I can understand why we would need this fellowship, but what steered it into the direction of listening to a pastor at a pulpit? In my opinion, that form of leadership was the cause of a power hungry Catholic Church in the Middle Ages. Why can our Christian fellowship be more in the format of a discussion instead of a man at a pulpit? I suppose that maybe there should be a leader to give some sort of presentation, but with the way the Church is set up, there is no way of making sure what was said sticks. Church should be a presentation from a pastor and then a guided discussion of the material. Idk... it was just an idea that popped up in my head just now.

I haven't gone to church for 2 wkends/ listened to M.D.s webcast. It's not that it's manditory, but necessary. Once you've had living water, you get thirsty. Church is just a place where I can get a drink.
